Our Hours

Our building at 24 East Baltimore Street houses the Taneytown History Museum and Visitor Center, and the Office of the Taneytown Chamber of Commerce.

The Museum

The Museum is staffed by our docents who are unpaid volunteers. Because they are volunteers, our hours are limited due to a limited number of volunteers hours. The Museum hours are as follows:

Chamber of Commerce Office

The Chamber of Commerce Office is typically staffed by the Chamber of Commerce's Executive Director, Donna Sako. The Chamber Office hours are as follows:

• Tuesday - Thursday: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

You may call the Chamber Office at any time at (410) 756-4234. Our Executive Director retrieves messages from the our phone on a daily basis.

Visitor Center

Our small Visitor Center is located in the front of the building, making it accessible during any of the hours listed above for the Museum or Chamber Office.
