Donations / Monetary Contributions

The Taneytown History Museum is open to the public and free of charge. However, donations are graciously accepted and encouraged, as this is our means of adding to the museum and offering more to you, the public.
 
Our museum committee members and docents are all volunteers, volunteering their time and their love for Taneytown.

Making Out Your Tax-Deductible Contribution

The Taneytown History Museum is a 501C3 organization, making your donations tax deductible. If donating via check, please make your check out to the Taneytown Museum Foundation, c/o Community Foundation of Carroll County.

Sample Check - Be sure to include the c/o Community Foundation of Carroll County
in the memo section of your check for tax purposes.

Artifacts

Should you have an artifact of interest to the Museum, please call the Museum at (410) 756-4234 and speak with a representative about your treasure. If no one is available to take your call, please leave a message with your name and phone number so that we may contact you. Also state the purpose of your call so that the most appropriate representative may contact you. As always, we thank you for taking the time to contact us and for sharing what you have with others.

Volunteer

Another way you can help is by joining our docents or our Museum Committee. We are always happy to have more support from the community.
