The Museum Committee

The first group of volunteers are our Committee members. This group of folks have provided the planning and basis for staging the Museum. Meeting monthly, and more frequently when needed, this group plans for the Museum's future.

Our Volunteers are Very Important

The Museum Project, although started by a committee of the Taneytown Chamber of Commerce, was viewed and planned as a community project. We have volunteers from our Chamber, the Heritage Committee, the Lions, local churches and others. We also have volunteers who simply love Taneytown and want our Museum to be a success. When you see a museum volunteer, please say thank you to our volunteers for caring enough to give their time.

Our Docents are the horsepower that keep us going! Thank you.

Our Donors Make a BIG Difference

Our donors are a great support to the museum's success. Talk to us today about how you can help, or click HERE to see how you can help us thrive.
